Welcome to San Diego's first Hindu Community Center!

Hindu Community Center (HCC) is a non-profit organization with 501(c)(3) tax exempt status. The center is established to connect the community to Hindu heritage, culture, experiences and values to ensure the continuity and vibrancy of the Indian community, and Hindu tradition of peace and harmony amongst all the people. This center is dedicated to promote this rich tradition, culture and knowledge gained over thousands of years and recorded in many forms. 

 

The center has a youth program, senior center, a library, and an auditorium to accommodate community events such as weddings, concerts, seminars and workshops. The center promotes youth activities through Bala bhavan and Youth Service SanDiego (YSS). Adults and children can participate in various Yoga and Sanskrit classes offered on a regular basis. The center promotes cultural, educational and Community events through tailor made activities for all age groups.

The HCC is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for San Diego’s diverse Indian community and its greater general community. This website also provide a window to all the Indian community activities of San Diego. The center invites all the people and will not discriminate against race, religion, national origin, economic status or sexual orientation.
